Cryptoasset firms: There is no cryptoasset edition. Firms registered only under the Money Laundering Regulations are not authorised firms, and PRIN applies to firms. For a registered person, PRIN applies only to their cryptoasset financial promotions, and then only Principle 7, not the Consumer Duty. Firms that hold FCA authorisation for other activities should choose the edition for that business. Rules for the new cryptoasset regime were not checked.
