Have you completed your FCA Directory Persons?
If you have not heard or are wondering, by 31 March 2021, the FCA is proposing that solo regulated firms (you) must submit their Directory Persons data via Connect.
WHYAs a quick primer, the Directory Persons is being set up to assist consumers and firms in checking whether individuals are who they say they are at an FCA authorised firm.
WHATIf you have not already, you need to take the necessary action to gather the required information and ensure its accuracy prior to submission. Submission will involve the Directory Persons details, relevant roles held, professional membership amongst other requirements.
REMEMBERThere is a £250 administrative fee if your submission is not accurate and a change is required later. Additionally, where a data error is reported to the FCA or otherwise comes to light, a fee will be charged.
If you have any questions in relation to the FCA Directory then please do get in touch with us.
